TKK MBA 20th Anniversary

In the late 1980s, Professor Martti M Kaila was given the task of creating a world-class Master of Business Administration Program at Helsinki University of Technology. The first TKK MBA Program, EuroMBA as the program was called at the time, was started in 1989. The program proved to be successful from the very beginning and soon established its position as one of the leading part-time MBA Programs in Europe.

A shorter MBA program, eMBA, was started in 1998. This program was originally called the CoreMBA Program.

Currently the alumni in the TKK MBA is comprised of around 800 persons, and about 600 persons have studied in the company-tailored executive programs provided by the TKK Executive School of Business.
